Description:
A wellness-driven residential development, Natura blends eco-conscious design with elevated comfort. The client envisioned spaces that feel green, calming, and luxurious—supporting both active lifestyles and quiet retreat. Midway through the process, the project underwent significant value engineering to align with updated budget requirements while preserving the essence of the original design intent.
My Role:
Collaborated with the design team to revise layouts and finishes during the value engineering phase
Participated in coordination meetings across disciplines to ensure alignment between interior updates and architectural, MEP, and construction requirements
Authored and organized detailed interior design notes combining annotated visuals and written summaries, which were shared across teams to guide VE implementation
Supported FF&E revisions, helping reduce costs while preserving the original aesthetic vision
Updated Revit drawings, elevations, and schedules to reflect material and scope adjustments

Exterior Rendering

Exterior rendering by the architectural team showcasing NATURA, a 315-unit multi-living development in Gainesville, FL. As part of the interior design team, our scope included over 8,500 sq. ft. of amenity spaces such as the bistro, clubroom, leasing office, fitness center, yoga/virtual room, coworking lounge, pet spa, conference room, and more. We also consulted on outdoor furniture layouts and provided design input for corridors, breezeways, and unit entry concepts. Designed to embrace wellness and a modern, nature-inspired lifestyle, the community blends upscale design with functionality.
UPDATED CLUBROOM SEATING – POST-VE DESIGN
Finalized 3D view of the redesigned clubroom banquette seating, developed during the value engineering (VE) phase. Working closely with the team, I updated the CD set to reflect this custom millwork solution—balancing aesthetic integrity with budget constraints. This view showcases the revised built-in seating layout within the double-height space, designed to maintain the visual impact and spatial experience of the original concept.
Selected construction document sheets illustrating my contributions during the value engineering phase. These reflect updates made to align with revised budget goals while preserving the design integrity of NATURA’s amenity spaces.

The sheets shown represent selected highlights from a larger drawing set that underwent multiple updates during the value engineering phase. While not exhaustive, they reflect my hands-on contributions to both design and documentation. I played a key role in maintaining aesthetic continuity and facilitating seamless coordination across disciplines throughout a complex VE process.
